Notes

The Abstract reads "Regulation of the flow of the Peace River through the W.A.C. Bennett Dam in British Columbia has substantially altered the water level regime of the Peace-Athabasca Delta in north-eastern Alberta. Concern over the effects of regulation of the Peace River on waterfowl habitat on the delta led the Canadian Wildlife Service to implement a two-year waterfowl study in the area in 1969.
The delta supports large numbers of migrating, breeding, moulting and staging waterfowl, and acts as a refuge for prairie ducks displaced by drought. The habitat preferences of those populations were investigated with respect to their distribution during the breeding, moulting and fall staging activities. ..."
