Notes

Organized to raise health awareness, the 2005 SaskWalk for Health saw a group of senior citizens walk the entire length of Saskatchewan. In this book, Cliff Shockey recounts his experiences organizing and participating in the walk. The volume first explains the project's genesis and introduces the walkers, then describes the 1572km trek. Included at the end are participant autobiographies, transcriptions of newspaper articles covering SaskWalk for Health, and interviews/articles concerning health and diseases selected by Shockey. Photographs and a conversational tone lend a personal touch to the story. No publication date indicated, but Shockey's retrospective account necessitates a publication date of 2005 or later.
