Notes

Founded in 1960 by Saskatchewan artist and academic Eli Bornstein, “The Structurist” was an interdisciplinary journal published annually – later, biennially – by the University of Saskatchewan as a forum for discussing modern art, architecture, and culture. Each issue’s contents addressed a particular theme. This 30th anniversary issue, titled “Continuity and Connectedness: The Search for Continuity in Art and Connectedness with Nature,” features contributions from scholars and artists from Saskatchewan, Canada, and around the world. Includes index for the journal’s first 30 issues. This issue contains articles by Eli Bornstein, J. Stan Rowe, Suzi Gablik, David T. Hanson, George Woodcock, James M. Rosen, Patrick Close, John K. Grande, Alfred Caldwell, Robert Maxwell, Alain Findeli, Esther Levinger, Waldo Balart, Julián Gil, Joost Baljeu, Leif Sjöberg
