Notes

The Poplarfield and District Millennium Album, 1900–2000, documents the history of Poplarfield, a Manitoba community north and west of Winnipeg, largely settled by immigrants from Ukraine. The volume reproduces photographs with captions and annotations recording the people, events, and activities of Poplarfield and the surrounding district. Coverage extends to the school districts of Dehowa, High Plains, Spruce View, Wheathill, Leeland, New Star, and Sharpewood, as well as the neighbouring settlements of Chatfield, Broadvalley, and Fisher Branch. The book focuses on community history and does not include family histories.
