Notes

Henry Hutchinson Montgomery (1847–1932) was a distinguished Anglican bishop. At the time he authored The Church on the Prairie, he was serving as Secretary of the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Lands. This title offers a unique perspective on the settlement of the Canadian prairies, highlighting how the Anglican Church established, staffed, and ministered to congregations of agricultural settlers during a pivotal era in Canadian history. Includes " A Great Trek ( being the Original Start from Saskatoon),", "How A Church Was Built At Humboldt" both by Archdeacon Lloyd.
