Based on research undertaken by Esther Fraser during the 1950s and 1960s, originally developed for a series of radio broadcasts for CKUA before publication in book form in 1969. Focuses on prominent travellers, explorers, and mountaineers active in the Rockies during the period when much of the range remained unmapped.
