Notes

This volume contains pictures and stories of administering, teaching, and learning in Prince Albert’s public schools. The recollections come from former students, teachers, and staff, and discuss subjects such as curriculums, favorite teachers, discipline, and playground games. Throughout, the text provides snapshots of the minutiae of school life in the early/mid-1900s as well as a sketch of Saskatchewan’s educational structure/system. Most images of teachers/staff are accompanied by identification. See images for list of schools covered. No publication date, but the volume's recognition of funding from Canada's New Horizons grant program necessitates a publication date of 1972 or later.
