Notes

This programme was produced for a 1956 St. Paul's School of Nursing Alumni Association's variety night in Saskatoon. The booklet opens with a message from the Association's president, a list of the Association's executive, and a short history of St. Paul's Hospital. Portraits of the night's performers (an eclectic international group, including Finnish juggler Seppo Leivo and American singer Russell Byrd) are spaced throughout the programme, with the order of ceremonies appearing on p.29. Most pages are filled with advertisements solicited by the Alumni Association, rendering the programme a time capsule of Saskatoon area businesses in the mid-1950s.
