This volume contains a community history of the village of Sovereign (in Saskatchewan's Rural Municipality of St. Andrews #287) and surrounding area. The book begins with a historical overview of Sovereign, the R.M. of St. Andrews, and local organizations, school districts (Franklin, Haddington, Padgate, and Sovereign), and churches. The authors also compile an Honor Roll, and conclude the book with a "Pictures of Interest" section organized by subject matter. Family histories contributed by area residents make up most of the text.
