Notes

Now called the Saskatoon History Review, Saskatoon History began as a Saskatoon Heritage Society periodical in 1980 to "encourage original research on the history of the city" ([2]). This issue contains five articles (most by editorial team members): "Ernest Lindner as Teacher" by Terrence Heath, "Lots for Sale - Saskatoon, 1890-1906" by Julie Harris, "Modernization of the Italian Renaissance Style" by Don Kerr, "A Brief Tour of the Capitol Theatre" by Michael Taft, and "Mennonites in Saskatoon - Some Early Occurrences" by T. D. Regehr. In addition to maps and photographs, the journal features several illustrations by Saskatoon artist Bob Fink.
