This collaborative history of the town of La Ronge was written in conjunction with Saskatchewan's Diamond Jubilee. The book consists of 18 topical chapters contributed by more than 20 different authors (including "A Northern Holiday," reprinted from the Saskatchewan Archives Board). While some sections include personal anecdotes, there are no family histories - the volume's scope is at the level of town/regional infrastructure and community life. Chapters are interspersed liberally with supporting photographs.
