“The Gardener of the Prairies” (founded in 1995 as “The Saskatchewan Gardener”) is a quarterly periodical published by three horticultural societies (Saskatchewan Horticultural Association, Saskatchewan Perennial Society, Saskatoon Horticultural Society) in conjunction with the University of Saskatchewan’s Extension Division. The periodical’s articles address seasonal topics related to horticulture and yard care on the prairies. This issue features topics such as eggplants, cultivating dahlias, and the basics of vegetable gardening.
