This volume contains a community history of the village of Glenavon (in Saskatchewan’s Rural Municipality of Chester #125). Intended to compliment the 1980 book “A Backwards Glance” and commemorate the village’s centennial, this volume’s content focusses particularly on local history after 1980. The book opens with historical overviews of the municipality and its locales (Glenavon, Deveron, Lovan Station/Kegworth, Baring), followed by topical chapters on area churches, schools, businesses, teams and organizations, and veterans. The final 300 pages contain family histories contributed by area residents. Includes index.
