Covers worn and lightly rubbed, corners bumped and creased. Pages lightly age-tanned, many pages creased at top spine corner, five pages marked in ink (alterations to recipes), all pages readable.

This cookbook contains recipes collected and used by the family of Carl and Annie Funk, who set up a homestead in southwest Saskatchewan in 1914. While some recipes were likely passed down through generations (i.e. “Grandma Funk’s Gingerbread Men”), others seem more contemporary (i.e. “Hot Dog Cheesies”). Cooking and lifestyle tips are interspersed throughout the recipes.
