Front cover lightly worn at corners and spine edge, small closed tear at bottom near spine. Spine bumped at heel. Edges, front endpapers, and early pages stained. Pinholes to spine in many places but binding firm.

This volume contains a community history of 12 districts in Saskatchewan’s Rural Municipality of Coteau #255: Big Valley, Birsay and Tullis (incl. Handford, Whitby, Levita, Gumbo Flat), Brilliant Star, Crescent Valley (incl. Lake Marion, Luck Lake/Valley Ford, New Bank), Dunblane, Finland, Lake Coteau (incl. Lyons), Manna, Mount Marie, Piccadilly, Rock Point, and West Point. The book opens with general histories of settlement in the municipality, topical chapters on local agriculture, government, cemeteries (including lists of those interred), churches, veterans, and services, and reminiscences of rural life. Each district’s chapter contains a brief historical overview followed by family histories contributed by area residents.
