Notes

This volume contains a community history of the districts surrounding Clouston (a [former?] community in Saskatchewan’s Rural Municipality of Prince Albert #461): Lily Plain, Lindsay, Mackintosh, Maiden Lake, Meridian, Ridge, Riverside, Royal, and St. Catherine’s. Much of the volume consists of family histories contributed by area residents (some recalling the North-West Resistance; see, for example, pp.74 or 283). The final 100 pages of the book contain topical chapters on local schools, churches, community services and organizations, sports, homesteading, and noteworthy events/occasions. Includes index and Honour Roll. Errata. Laid in is a one-page list of History Committee Members with annotations indicating their contributions.
