Chain of Memories : Leipzig and Districts

This volume contains a history of the village of Leipzig and the surrounding school districts of Aroma Lake, Cavell, Krist, Medina, Pascal, Rhyl, and Standard (located in Saskatchewan’s Rural Municipality of Reford #379). The volume opens with a historical overview of settlement in the area, followed by sections on local churches (including a 1905-1913 list of baptisms, marriages, and burials from St. Pascal’s Parish) and the School Sisters of Notre Dame convent and school. Regional histories of each school district, as well as the village of Leipzig, follow. The largest section of the volume contains family histories contributed by area residents. Includes index.
