The Legislative Building has special meaning for me and my family as well, for I worked there for twenty years as Clerk of the Legislative Assembly. Throughout that time I never lost my sense of awe and admiration for the visionaries, architects, and workers who designed and built such a magnificent edifice. While walking down its halls, I would often see a sculpture, design or gargoyle that I had not noticed before and would marvel anew at the intricate detail of the building and its furnishings. ..."
