Notes

This community history of Saskatchewan's Rural Municipality of Buckland #491 opens with a short preface of poems/songs, photographs, and copies of documents detailing settler life and Buckland's organization into a municipality. The next - and largest - section contains family histories of current and former area residents (appended by a collection of brief family histories from the localities of Crestview Acres, Green Acres, Madden Place, Nesbit Heights, Pine Haven, Place Verte, Redwing, and Red Wing Terrace). The volume ends with topical chapters on local churches, schools, women's organizations, medical and mail services, sports teams and community organizations, photograph collections, and an Honor Roll. Envelope adhered to front paste-down contains a homesteaders map of the municipality.
