This volume contains a community history of Saskatchewan's Rural Municipality of Blaine Lake #434, as well as part of the Rural Municipality of Redberry #435 to the west. In addition to the town of Blaine Lake, the small communities of Gillies Hamlet, Krydor, and Tallman also receive short historical overviews. Alongside these overviews, the first half of the book contains topical chapters on local agriculture, churches, schools, experiences of the Depression and WWI/WWII, and bands/sports teams/organizations. The second half of the book contains family histories contributed by area residents. Includes index and a 40 x 54 cm (15.5 x 21.5 in.) fold-out map.
