Notes

Bangor is a village in the Rural Municipality of Fertile Belt No. 183 - south east of Melville, Saskatchewan. Bangor was settled by descendants of Welsh families who had migrated to Patagonia in 1860. Disagreements with the Argentine government led approximately 250 people to emigrate to Canada. This detail rich history lists essays on the schools - school districts of Aston, Bangor, Fertile Belt, Glyndwr, Llewelyn, Luton, Marwin, Audley, Pilchak, and Wales. The contents page lists chapters on businesses, churches, culture and recreation, farming, and the Morris Lodge. The majority of the content is contributed family histories. Includes an index and burial lists for the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bangor Cemetery, and the Llewelyn Cemetery.
