This community history documents the Rural Municipality of Cymri in southeastern Saskatchewan, located a short distance northwest of Estevan. It covers the settlements of Macoun, Midale, and Halbrite, along with the rural school districts of Anderson, Augusta, Bromstad, Dead Lake, Dewey, Hoium, Lac Qui Parle, Long, Monson, Olmstead, Rolling Meadow, Sorsdahl, Sunnyside, Waite, and White Rock. In addition to an extensive section of family histories, the volume includes brief chapters on local churches, sports and recreation, industries, and community organizations.
