This community history documents the town of Asquith, Saskatchewan, located a short distance west of Saskatoon. It includes brief historical essays on the nearby hamlets of Dunfermline and Environ, as well as the rural school districts of Douglas Plain, Avondale, McTavish, Eagleholme, Nelson, Eagle Bank, Eagle Creek, Grange, Hawoods, Grasby, Dunfermline, Polar Crescent, and Fairholme. Additional sections address local churches, organizations, sports, and agriculture. The bulk of the volume consists of compiled family histories of area residents.
