This is a community history of the village of Spy Hill and the surrounding rural district in southeastern Saskatchewan, situated between Langenburg and Rocanville and not far from the Manitoba border. The volume records the development of the area through a mix of historical essays, anecdotes, and recollections of earlier days.
The book is arranged in several sections, with chapters devoted to the Village of Spy Hill itself as well as to the school districts of Bavelaw, Deerhorn, Hamona, and Welby. Each section incorporates family histories associated with its respective area.
