Notes

Memory Opens the Door is a community history of New Norway and the surrounding district, located southwest of Camrose, Alberta. The volume opens with brief reference to Indigenous presence and fur trade activity in the region, and chiefly documents later settlement, with brief essays on local institutions including schools, churches, businesses, and recreational life; the greater part of the work consists of family histories of area residents.
