Notes

Norval Morrisseau (1932–2007), an Anishinaabe (Ojibway) artist born on the Sand Point Reserve near Beardmore, Ontario, is widely acknowledged as the founder of the Woodland School of Canadian Indigenous art.

This lush volume contains 130 full-colour reproductions of Morrisseau’s paintings, together with numerous black-and-white illustrations.
